Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
1. Introduction
We value your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we process, how we use cookies and similar technologies, and how you can control your choices. Where the law requires consent, it is collected with Google's consent message (Google AdSense “Privacy & messaging”), a Google-certified consent management platform that implements the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF) v2.2.
2. Information We Process
- Your files stay on your device: our tools (image conversion, compression, extraction, recorders and others) run entirely in your browser. Files you open are not uploaded to our servers.
- IP address and headers (tools): “What’s my IP” and “What’s my headers” show this information to you; we do not store it.
- Page ratings: when you rate a page we store the rating together with a random identifier generated in your browser (no name, email or IP address), so you can change your own rating later.
- Contact form: if you send us a message we store the name, email address and message you enter, plus the page and browser type, only to answer you. Messages are forwarded to our team mailbox (Gmail).
- No accounts: you can use every tool without creating an account.
Ratings and contact messages are stored with our database provider, Neon (Postgres), in the EU (Frankfurt).
3. Cookies, Local Storage & Consent
Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent through Google’s consent message before advertising and analytics cookies are used. Until you choose, Google tags run in a privacy-preserving mode (Google Consent Mode v2) that does not store advertising or analytics cookies. Elsewhere, cookies are used as described below, and US visitors may opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information where state law provides that right.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time:
What we use
- Strictly necessary (local storage): your theme choice, your own ratings, when you last dismissed the “support us” message, and whether you installed the app. These stay in your browser and are never used for tracking.
- Analytics: Google Analytics 4 for aggregate usage statistics, according to your consent choices.
- Advertising: Google AdSense and its advertising partners, according to your consent choices. Depending on your choices and location, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.
4. Google Analytics 4 (Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage and improve our services. It runs according to your consent choices (Google Consent Mode v2). IP addresses may be processed by Google.

5. Google AdSense (Advertisement)
This website uses Google AdSense to show ads, which keeps every tool free. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, according to your consent choices.

6. Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Because tools run in your browser, your files are not transmitted to us. The small amount of data we do store (ratings and contact messages) is protected by access rules in the database and is not publicly readable.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing. You can change or withdraw consent at any time with the privacy settings link above or in the site footer. For any request — including deleting a contact message you sent — please contact us below.
8. Contact
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or your data, please contact us here.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page with the “Last updated” date above.
