How to use this tool
Our WASM Explorer tool allows you to quickly and easily analyze WebAssembly (.wasm) files directly in your browser. You can inspect detailed information about the module, including sections, functions, types, imports, exports, memory layout, embedded strings, cross-references, and metadata — all without installing any additional software.
How to use
- Upload your file – drag and drop your .wasm file into the upload area, or click to browse and select it from your device.
- Automatic analysis – the tool will parse the WebAssembly binary and display its internal structure in organized tabs such as Sections, Functions, Types, Strings, Cross-References, WAT Output, and more.
Analysis results
After processing, you’ll be able to explore:
- Module overview: section layout, imports, exports, memory, tables, and metadata.
- Functions & types: function signatures, control flow mappings, and type definitions.
- WAT representation: generated WAT-like output for easier debugging and inspection.
- Strings & cross-references: extract embedded strings and analyze how functions, globals, and tables interact.
- Producers & features: inspect compiler information and target WebAssembly features.
Tip: in the filter box you can type any part of a name or meta value; press Esc to clear it. In the hexdump, Shift+click selects a range and Ctrl+click toggles single bytes.
This tool provides a fast, powerful, and intuitive way to inspect WebAssembly modules for developers, reverse engineers, security researchers, and advanced users.

How it works
-
Upload your file
Drop a
.wasmfile onto the upload area or click to browse your device. -
Automatic analysis
The WebAssembly binary is parsed in a background worker — sections, functions, types, strings and cross-references.
-
Explore & export
Browse the tabs (WAT, Wasm→JS, call graph, hexdump…) and download the WAT output or a JSON report.

WASM Explorer – analyze WebAssembly modules instantly
Need to inspect and understand a WebAssembly (.wasm) file? Our WASM Explorer tool makes it easy to explore the internal structure of compiled WebAssembly modules directly in your browser. Whether you're debugging, auditing, or reverse engineering, this tool provides powerful insights instantly.
What is a WASM Explorer?
A WASM Explorer parses raw WebAssembly binary files and presents them in a structured, human-readable format. You can analyze sections, functions, types, imports/exports, strings, and even generate a WAT-like representation of the module. This is essential for developers, security researchers, and anyone working with low-level WebAssembly.
How to use the online WASM Explorer
Using the tool is simple:
- Upload your file: drag and drop or select your .wasm file.
- Automatic parsing: the tool analyzes the module structure and builds internal representations.
- Explore & analyze: browse sections, functions, strings, types, cross-references, WAT output, and more.
Key features of our WASM Explorer
Our WebAssembly analysis tool is designed for deep inspection and clarity, offering:
- Section overview: inspect module sections including code, data, imports, exports, and custom sections.
- Function analysis: view function signatures, control flow mappings, and call relationships.
- String extraction: automatically detect and extract embedded strings.
- Cross-references (Xrefs): identify how functions, globals, and tables interact.
- WAT generation: generate readable WAT-style output for easier debugging.
- JSON export: export full analysis results for further research or automation.
- Secure & local: all processing happens in your browser — your file never leaves your device.
Common use cases for WASM analysis
Our tool is widely used for:
- Developers: debug and inspect compiled WebAssembly output.
- Security researchers: analyze potentially malicious or obfuscated WASM modules.
- Reverse engineers: understand compiled logic and function relationships.
- Performance analysts: inspect memory usage, imports, and module structure.
